Norfolk Sports Club

The Norfolk Sports Club held its September meeting by honoring the reunion of the 1965-1971 Norfolk Neptunes. Club member Dick Thorne put together a fantastic event bringing together head coach Gary Glick and assistant coach Dick Booth along with a great number of former players and the Neptune Cheerleaders. The evening's program featured pictures of the players as they were some 45 years ago. Also in attendance was long time WTAR radio Sports Director Stan Garfin who provided color commentary from the side lines during the games. The players and cheerleaders signed autographs, posed for pictures, and gave the attendees a fun filled nostalgic evening.
